2-Location : in the north of Africa Libya Lies, between latitudes 33 N and 20 and longitudes 8 E and 25 E, Libya is the fourth largest state in Africa with an area of apporximately 1.775.500 sq .KM and mediterranean coastline of 1820 KM in lenght. Libya has common border eith Tunisia and Algeria in the west, Chad and Niger in the south, Sudan in the south-east and Egypt in the east.

3-People: The population is about 5.7 millions with (92%) Arabs, (5%) Berbers and (3%) Tuareg, Toubou, Black Africans and some Europeans. People in libya are mostly Muslims .

4-Languge: The first languge is Arabic, but English and Italian are also used.

5-Climate: In general ,Mediterranean along the coast,dry extreme desert interior. On the coastline the weather is rainy and cold in winter, from Movember to March. and in summer the weather mostly humid. in winter the desert is very cold at night and worm in daytime, very high temperature in summer.
